I first went on the wine tasting one which was brilliant – we went to 4 venues across the city, interspersed with short walks, and tasted some great wine in good company.(…) I liked it so much that I did their market tour 2 days after, and even though I’m not a huge foodie it was fascinating. (…) Small groups, great company and great food/wine at a reasonable price (…) A must if you’re in Bordeaux and want a proper taste of the city 🙂

Tour Overview
Bordeaux is a city that is constantly evolving and this tour is no exception to that. As the art changes and new works appear overnight, we adapt the route to see the best and most interesting pieces splashed on the walls. Street art provides the city with a colourful and contemporary appeal. On this tour, we will look beyond the works to discuss what life is like in Bordeaux today, what spaces are being repurposed, and the history that the walls would share if they could talk. Join us for an original and progressive look at the region!
Frequently Asked Questions
We accept cancellations a week before the tour date and you can do it through our website. If you booked through a partner’s website then you will need to read their terms and conditions as we cannot guarantee a refund. We cannot provide refunds less than 7 days prior to the tour.
We still walk if it is raining! We do our best to stop in sheltered areas to speak and often will have some spare umbrellas or even ponchos for sale if the rain seems unrelenting.
We accept cash at the beginning of the tour, at the start location. However, waiting to pay with cash does not guarantee you a place on our popular tasting tours where space is limited so we recommend booking online in advance.
You can pay online with a credit card and we also take credit card payments at the tour start location.
You can reserve online through our website or through a number of partner websites, including, but not limited to TripAdvisor, Get Your Guide, Viator, Freetour.com, and Airbnb Experiences.

(…) It was basically a private tour. So we had Henley as our tour guide which was awesome. She took us to the Marche des Capucins, telling us a bit about the history of the city and the news on the way to the market (…) we stopped at several kiosks to learn about the vendors’ produce and to taste the oysters, truffle ham (omg), foie gras, cheese and wine. (…) It was like visiting a friend in Bordeaux. (…)
We had a great time on the market tour and ended up getting a lot more food than we expected. It is a bargain and the guide was really fun. We wish we could have done the wine tour but had to catch a train. Next time!
